Electrical studies for Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) EPR2 Project:

Realization of the electrical design of UPS (Rectifiers/chargers, Batteries, 24 VDC and 125 VDC Converters, Inverters) for the Nuclear island. Power balance and calculation of thermal dissipation for UPS equipment. Preliminary study of short-circuit currents: Contribution of the Battery to the short circuit, Contribution of the Rectifier/Charger, Short-circuit studies of the Inverter.

Self-training on Caneco BT and performance of Power balance and short-circuit current calculations for electrical equipment (UPS, Generators...)

Electric motors (High Voltage & Low Voltage) for applications (Nuclear and Oil and Gas):

Drafting of technical specifications for the procurement of Low and High Voltage asynchronous motors for driving hydraulic pumps for projects (EPR, HPC-UK, and KRSKO) and technical support for electrical tests on asynchronous motors internally at the hydraulic pump test platform at Clyde Union and monitoring qualification tests of motors at electric motor suppliers (Leroy Somer, Jeumont Electric, and Elin Motoren…). Drafting of technical specifications for electric motors for hydraulic pumps (RPE, DEL…) for the HPC-UK project and for the EPR 2 project (MHSI-HV Pumps). Verification of calculation notes (sizing, starting curves…) and monitoring of static and dynamic electrical tests at electric motor suppliers. Implementation of static electrical testing equipment (resistors, insulation, dielectric, surge test…) at Clyde Union Pumps.
