L'Oréal S.A. operates in an international and competitive environment.

Thus, I write weekly economic summary notes to inform members of the L'Oréal Group Executive Committee. These same summary notes focus on current issues, including geopolitical, macroeconomic, and financial issues of major world powers.

Furthermore, I analyze competitor specifics for any future strategic decisions by the Executive Committee members. I then address these competitors by contextualizing their business in its entirety, synthesizing their notable financial elements, and identifying their market strategy, relative to the latest fiscal years.

General Operations & Finance Directorate

L'Oréal S.A. aims, within its factories, to provide updated training for its finance professionals, achieve production cost savings, and meet environmental protection requirements.

(I) In terms of integrating the latest methodological conventions, I bring training materials on elements for value analysis in production centers up to standard. These elements include industrial cost prices, inter-company sales prices, and factory cost accounts; these ultimately lead to analytical results and factory results.

(II) In terms of financial policy and communication with financial analysts, I contribute:

- on one hand, with the support of the Purchasing Department, to a better identification of the causes related to price variations of raw materials and packaging items, as practiced by suppliers;

- on the other hand, with the support of the Quality Department (Sustainable Development Production), to a better definition of specificities such as: waste, water consumption, and greenhouse gas emissions; such specificities concern factories and distribution centers, between 2005 and 2018.

Internet Communication & Social Networks

The Salon du Luxe Paris, a B2B event, is holding its first edition. This edition focuses on the theme: Luxury & Innovation.

Within the HEC Executive Community network, via LinkedIn, I write and publish articles, in French and English, on the purpose, proceedings, and innovative nature of this event.

Additionally, through the same network, I participate in developing a partnership between representatives of companies likely to be interested in this event and its organizers.
