Within Ardian's IT department, development of a "greenfield" data aggregator, followed by a migration to the Microsoft cloud (team of 6 people).

Context and functional objectives:

In early 2022, operational staff wanted a tool to better understand markets and identify new opportunities. The Datafeed project was created to meet this need. Data supply contracts were signed (Capital IQ, Pitchbook, CFNews, Diane) to obtain administrative, financial, transaction, and contact data, etc. After preprocessing by fuzzy matching, this data is then aggregated and arbitrated by Datafeed and enriches the CRM of Ardian's expertise areas (Co-Investment, Growth, Leveraged Buyout) via Microsoft Dynamics 365.

Activities within the scope of the mission:

Datafeed Solution Development:

• Design of the "greenfield" architecture

• Supervision of 2 developers on the project

• Integration with internal tools (fuzzy matching, Dynamics 365)

Migration to Azure Cloud (Summer 2023):

• Management and implementation of the solution migration

• Containerization with Docker

Carac contract management application. Development of new products (including PERin) and compliance with the Pacte Law (team of 8 people).

Context and functional objectives:

Evolution of the contract management application to: develop and integrate new products marketed by Carac (e.g., PERin) and ensure compliance with legal requirements (e.g., Pacte Law). This application allows for all types of management operations (e.g., free and programmed payments, partial or total surrenders, annuity liquidations, beneficiary designations, death management, etc.), and automated processing (e.g., guarantee recalculations, bonuses, IFU generation, year-end processing, accounting operation reports, automatic liquidations, etc.).

Development on the new PERin product (individual PER), within the framework of the Pacte Law:

• Annuities (life annuities, reversion annuities, education annuities). Annuity calculation: quarterly payments, reversion option, social and tax deductions allocation. Annuity payment schedule calculation and setup: consideration of funding compartments, establishment of RVTG and RVTO shares, generation of payment lines

• Batch processing (automatic liquidations, guarantee recalculations, year-end processing)

• IFU generation, feeding accounting interfaces with operation reports (CRO)

Project: Redesign of a production chain for data integration, BI processing, and generation of personalized and interactive reports. Primarily back-end mission. (team of 4 people)

Context and functional objectives

The client wishes to modernize its production chain, which has been developed over the past 15 years. This requires studying the existing system, designing appropriate workflows, and conducting technological watch. Technically, the mission involves several interesting challenges, particularly related to the very large volume of data to be processed (e.g., magnitude of some tables: 10 million rows). Significant technical study was done on integrating Entity Framework in this context (bulk operations). This mission requires autonomous work and good organization, and adapting to strong budgetary and technical constraints, especially due to the high investment cost for a company of this size.
