My Story

I worked at ING for the past seven years. First at Assisted Channels, where I built a team of Customer Journey Experts and Product Owners. Then as Product Lead Mortgages, where I, along with 15 colleagues, was responsible for nearly 900,000 customers. Among other things, we launched the new mortgage app environment. In one year, the use of digital journeys increased from 22% to 56%. Fewer calls to the call center, more satisfied customers. That's what energizes me: translating brand values into digital experiences that people understand and appreciate.

Before ING, I worked at KLM. There, I had one foot in operations and the other in digital innovation. From leading 100 people at Schiphol to building an app for all ground staff worldwide. Always with the same goal: improving service.

    Leading a team of 15 Product Owners and Customer Journey Experts within the tribe Mortgages at ING, making this role one of the largest Product Lead roles within the company. Both responsible for people and strategy of the product. Product scope entails all journeys of ING’s existing mortgages client base (890.000 clients). Year over year increasing employee satisfaction scores on leadership OHI survey.
    Designed and brought live new mortgages app overview which enables our client base to digitally self-service their mortgage. Usage of Google Design Sprint and qualitative and quantitative customer research methods. Journeys available in app increased from 22% to 56% in 1 year, which resulted in less traffic at RCC and increased customer satisfaction scores.
    Initiated and designed area-wide talent review process within tribe Mortgages.
