Shopyflow Integration - Webflow Front-End & Shopify Back-End LinkE-COMMERCEJuly 2024 - July 2024Annecy, FranceContext and objectivesThe project involved integrating Webflow and Shopify using Shopyflow to transform a Webflow site into a fully functional e-commerce store.Missions- Link Webflow and Shopify with Shopyflow.
- Configure Shopyflow attributes.
- Create product, vendor, and category pages.
- Set up a customer account area.
- Transfer products from Webflow to Shopify.
- Configure automatic synchronization between Webflow and Shopify.
- Set up server-side product search.
- Create an advanced filtering system on category pages and the "Browse Gift" page.
- Train the client on managing their store.
Actions takenI first configured the Shopyflow attributes to ensure smooth integration between Webflow and Shopify. Then, I linked the two platforms, creating product and category pages on Shopify. I set up a customer account area to enhance the user experience. The transfer of products from Webflow to Shopify is done through an autosync feature. However, it was necessary to create a system for identifying and differentiating products based on their categories, tags, product types, and needs. As a result, visitors can now choose their items based on occasions, categories, price range, brand values, or current promotions. They can also use the server-side search function for better performance than with Finsweet attributes. Results and impactThe integration between Webflow and Shopify provides a unique user experience thanks to Webflow and smooth, agile store management thanks to Shopify's back-end.
