As a freelance Production Manager and General Manager for WMH Project, I had the opportunity to support the agency on several large-scale projects, in France and internationally. My role was to ensure the smooth technical and logistical execution of events, while respecting the creative and strategic expectations of the agency and its clients.

I was responsible for the overall production of events, from needs analysis to operational delivery. This included overseeing production schedules, coordinating technical and creative teams, and monitoring project budgets to ensure a balance between ambition, feasibility, and resource optimization.

As General Manager, I orchestrated the operational setup on site: managing setup and dismantling, coordinating technical service providers (audiovisual, scenography, structures, security, catering, etc.), supervising staff teams, and acting as the interface with final clients. I also managed local constraints, particularly during international assignments, which required enhanced anticipation (transport, customs formalities, local regulations, cultural and linguistic differences).

My role also involved scouting and technical layout planning of event spaces, with a precise analysis of each venue's constraints to propose concrete and safe solutions. I was also responsible for the safety of teams and the public, integrating local standards and supervising the necessary protocols for the smooth running of events.

- Development and monitoring of the overall schedule to ensure the success of participation in the Agricultural Show.

- Coordination of the various preparation stages, ensuring the successful achievement of set objectives.

Selection, negotiation, and supervision of suppliers involved in stand construction (scenography, technical, furniture, decoration, etc.).

Monitoring deliverables to ensure compliance with specifications and deadlines.

Organization of logistical flows, including delivery, installation, and dismantling of the stand.

Coordination with on-site teams to ensure a smooth installation that meets expectations.

Management of logistical unforeseen events in collaboration with partners and the trade show's organizing committee.

As a project manager in an event agency, I had the opportunity to lead various projects, from the design phase to operational execution, including strategic client support. My role began with project construction, including writing tailor-made recommendations that met the needs and challenges of the brands or institutions supported. These recommendations took into account communication objectives, creativity, and technical feasibility.

I was responsible for complete budget monitoring, from quote development to expense tracking and project financial closing, ensuring both transparency and cost optimization. This rigor allowed me to reconcile clients' creative ambitions with financial constraints, providing them with a clear and secure view of their investments.

On-site, I managed general operations: scheduling, coordination of service providers and teams, adherence to deadlines, and anticipation of unforeseen events. I regularly conducted technical site visits to identify site-specific constraints (access, security, layout, logistics) and propose concrete solutions to optimize setups.

Selecting and negotiating with service providers (technical, catering, scenography, entertainment, hosts and hostesses, security, etc.) was also part of my responsibilities. I placed particular importance on the quality of services provided and their consistency with the clients' image and objectives.

Beyond the operational aspect, I also developed strong skills in client relationship management, providing constant support, regular progress updates, and detailed reporting.

Thus, I was able to gain a comprehensive understanding of the role of a project manager in an agency.
