My name is Raquel Feria Legrand, I am an illustrator and infographer and I live with my family in Tomares, Seville.
I am a journalist by training and I worked as an infographer coordinating the infographic section of Diario de Sevilla for more than 20 years, designing maps, statistical graphs, isometric and vector illustration, and data and complex process visualizations for publication in the different titles of Grupo Joly, its publishing company.
Now, as a freelancer, I create infographics for publications from universities, hospitals, innovation and research operational groups, and companies. I help them visualize complex concepts, ideas, and processes that would require too much text to explain to their clients.
For the past decade, I have been illustrating for publishing houses and design, advertising, or marketing agencies. I also do it for exhibitions and museums, drawing pieces, instructions, and portraits of characters.
I have specialized in scientific digital illustration and naturalist botanical illustration. In this regard, I have carried out work for educational, exhibition, and advertising purposes (dossiers, guides, manuals, posters, and packaging).
I also illustrate for my personal project, which I distribute on the Etsy platform (MujerCactusPrints) and which allows me to experiment, develop new ideas, and try techniques I had never used in my professional work.
I consider myself a responsible, quite demanding, and very meticulous person with each of my assignments, but, at the same time, flexible and versatile, as I easily adapt to the needs and requirements of each task, finding creative solutions to each client's problems without difficulty.
My experience working in multidisciplinary, national, and international teams, always remotely, is extensive.
