The first version of the application, currently in production, targeted a wide audience but encountered performance and maintainability issues with its software base.Main objective:Catch up on existing features, refactor code to optimize performance on less powerful machines (such as Freebox mini-4k), and improve test coverage.Team composition:The L33T team responsible for this project consisted of four JavaScript experts.Design and development:Creation of a dedicated children's area, with access control to prevent redirection to inappropriate content.Design of a multi-level navigation bar with Qt animations (states/transitions).Development of a "Store" providing a single data source for all application levels.Design of a scrolling system.Addition of features (profile switching, bookmarking).Implementation of unit and functional tests.Debugging and various improvements.Modifications of middlewares.Infrastructure and deployment:Continuous integration with Github CI and use of Husky as a hook.Jenkins for managing branch instances and build tests.Organization and methodology:Adoption of YAGNI, DRY, KISS, and TDD principles.Use of Git with a preference for rebase over merge, ensuring that diffs are representative and the code is well-documented.Implementation of pair programming.Project management according to Agile/Scrum methodology.
