I am Raphaël, or Robot Sensible.

I have been an independent web developer, designer, and artistic director for 11 years. I design and develop custom WordPress sites with Bricks Builder, for clients who are looking for polished work rather than a site assembled in a hurry.

Bricks Builder is the tool I chose after several years on Elementor. It produces clean code, remains performant over time, and offers real technical control without sacrificing speed of implementation.

My approach covers the entire project, not just integration. I work on art direction, user experience, performance, and SEO. I enjoy supporting my clients long-term, providing them with a strategic perspective and advice on their overall image.

Regarding performance and SEO, I am committed to delivering fast, accessible, and well-structured sites. Meticulous Lighthouse scores, clean markup, structured data, image optimization, attention to Core Web Vitals. SEO is not just about keywords: it's primarily a matter of architecture, speed, and content clarity. I also work with Yoast or Rank Math depending on the needs.

My clients are mainly communication agencies (as a subcontractor), cultural and research institutions (CNRS, universities), and SMEs or studios that want a site that lives up to their ambitions. I work remotely from Lyon, primarily in French.

I prefer to commit to a few well-executed projects rather than taking on multiple assignments. If you're looking for someone who delivers quickly and then forgets, I'm not the right person. Site coded custom in HTML/CSS/PHP/JS, content architecture designed for texts, period illustrations, audio excerpts, and interviews with contemporary neurologists. A project from start to finish, from brief to launch.
