    As an external software developer, I supported LocLab Consulting, a Hexagon group company specializing in three-dimensional digital twins. The focus was on the technical further development of internal software solutions and workflows to improve the performance, maintainability, and efficiency of the process chain – especially in the context of projects in the infrastructure and energy sectors. My responsibilities ranged from the practical implementation of technical optimizations to conceptual consulting on architecture and production issues.

    I developed a level-of-detail system for dynamic adjustment of model complexity to significantly improve performance when visualizing large amounts of 3D data. Building on this, I implemented an automated optimization of model data to reduce memory requirements and increase rendering performance. This allowed complex models to be processed and displayed more efficiently.
