About Ramy

With several experiences in agile projects for -among others- major retail players, I have been able to work as a product owner and UX designer in the design of mobile applications and purchasing paths.

My method is simple: understand the client's needs well, and involve all project stakeholders, as well as end users, in a co-design cycle.

Ideation workshops, task prioritization, design sprint weeks, or condensed design builds, I will be able to support you in giving meaning and orienting your projects to create the best possible user experience.

To have a very complete detail of my experience, do not hesitate to ask me for my Notion link!

    Mission with several responsibilities:
    - UX Lead on the "Decathlon Ride" application dedicated to users of "nature" bikes. Mission to align the vision with the PMs and Sports (businesses), continuous Product Discovery, listening to users on a monthly basis + weekly analysis of feedback in support and reviews on the stores, and finally animation of a community of beta testers entirely created with the Ride team.
    - Responsible for the graphic/experience consistency between the application and the Decathlon design system: Vitamin Play. Enrichment and sharing of the needs of other Decathlon connected applications to push the best possible components to the design system.
    - Hooked on data: I set up the first iteration of the application's tagging plan and associated Dashboard which made it possible to cross-reference data between bicycle sales and the use of our application, to ensure the best possible design: focused on user data.
    - In charge of team organization with other designers, PMs, devs and tech leads. Overall work organization to ensure continuous discovery AND regular delivery, to be ready before each sprint.
    - Inveterate tester: implementation of a UX policy of systematic tests for each functionality of the application. Scope of the test adapted to the deadline and the team's ability to do it, but no feature

  • Carrefour One
    Product Designer
    RETAIL (LARGE RETAILERS)
    July 2022 - Today (3 years and 11 months)
Within Carrefour, I was able to work on three main missions

    1. A B2B user research (UX research) mission. As Carrefour wanted to launch an offer dedicated to professionals, the idea of a specialized site emerged. The mission was to dig into the needs of professionals, and to prioritize the major actions to be taken.
    1. Methods used → Benchmark, detailed analysis of competitors and their solutions, work with Testapic for the recruitment of professional users, waves of interviews with professionals.
    2. Deliverables → Analysis report attached with the marketing, technical and business teams. Detailed personas, Affinity diagram with prioritization of expressed needs
    2. Another user research mission for the Carrefour Links platform, giving access to part of Carrefour's data to suppliers. The objective was to allow the internationalization of the tool, and the resolution of the most annoying user problems.
    a. Method used → Recruitment and interviews of three waves of users, on the Carrefour side, and on the supplier side. As the uses were different, it was necessary to prioritize the requests taking into account the biases of each type of user.
    b. Deliverables → UX analysis report with prioritization of user irritants. Persona and UJM, complete affinity diagram.

    3. Work on the design system - Marcel. As a UX/UI, I was able to help frame many components within the Carrefour design system. I participated in bringing rigor and precise use cases for the components, in order to make the Carrefour omnichannel experience more homogeneous.
Contributions → I was able to improve my deep knowledge of Figma, and the creation of components for a Design system; I had to challenge, and validate with all the other designers the choices made, and defend my convictions to create a homogeneous user experience, for any future person working on the design system.
