Hello, my name is Quentin Dinel. I am a DevOps Engineer in the aviation industry, specializing in automating complex workflows. My core focus is building and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines in GitLab, with a special emphasis on integrating MATLAB processes. I also leverage Google AppScript to develop custom automation solutions that streamline key operations for our finance, purchasing, and quality teams. Grounded in a machine learning background from the University of Lille, I am proficient in Python, SQL, and a range of development technologies.

I am also currently collaborating with the INRAE lab in Bordeaux to analyze the social behaviors of lab mice including sniffing, freezing, exploring and splashing. This project has helped the team divide by 6 the time spent on analyzing their videos manually.

Working with the INRAE laboratory in Bordeaux, I built a hands-on tool to automatically detect the social behaviors of lab mice. This includes detecting sniffing, freezing and exploring as well as splashing in a second project.
This project helped the team divide by a factor of 6 the time spent on manually labeling the mice behaviors during their interaction with or without other mice.

I was responsible in estimating the parameters of lithium-ion battery electrochemical models using artificial intelligence.
I used LSTMs, CNNs and XGBoost on data generated using PyBaMM, a novel Python package that generates synthetic data of a battery’s life cycles.
