I have a PhD in astrophysics, but I don't just look at the stars!
Indeed, an astrophysicist by training (specializing in modeling and simulation of stellar physics) and passionate about the challenges of adapting to climate change and transitions, I now put my scientific expertise to work for projects with a more direct impact on society. I am now a freelance consultant and climate speaker. My activity is organized around two poles.
A first pole of scientific popularization which includes:
- Facilitating "Climate Fresk" workshops to raise awareness about climate change, its causes and consequences (for senior executives, in climate onboarding at engineering schools, for young people in civic service)
- Facilitating "Digital Fresk" workshops to raise awareness about the environmental impact of digital technology
- Giving conferences on the physical basis of climate change and raising awareness of ecological and economic issues (carbon pricing in particular)
My second area of activity is organized around my physics and digital expertise and includes, for example, regular collaboration with the responsible finance firm Axylia in data science, on the environmental responsibility of companies.
More generally, thanks to my cross-disciplinary background in physics, applied mathematics, and computer science, I have the ability to analyze problems of various natures with a multi-method approach. I know how to effectively master new tools made available to me, and my creative personality allows me to establish effective communication, particularly in terms of popularization and data representation. On the technical side, I master C, Python, Fortran, and Matlab languages, and I am comfortable with all operating systems, whether local or remote.
