Pierrick Doreau

I am a part-time CTO at Utily.fr, a platform for intermediation between clients who wish to move and professional movers.

I currently coordinate technical developments and application maintenance, in terms of both development and infrastructure.

The platform includes:

- A customizable quote and invoice generation module

- An account management module

- Several web front-ends for different stakeholders

- Several mobile front-ends for different stakeholders

- A complete and modular internal API

- An external API for business providers

- The use of multiple external APIs

- A high-availability infrastructure based on Kubernetes

In addition to allowing me to master the associated technologies (see attached list), this experience has been very enriching for me in terms of time to market and impact.

Indeed, having been present since the very beginning of the company, I have learned to work within a very agile structure, through all aspects of a company's evolution (from the first lines of code to various fundraising rounds), with a "Problem solving" mindset.

Integrated into teams at large corporate clients, I have faced complex and particularly formative challenges.

At Amundi Asset Management, I contributed to the migration of internal web tools in the field of financial markets. The mission consisted of migrating these tools from proprietary in-house stacks to modern stacks, based on much more flexible open-source frameworks and libraries (e.g., Symfony).

There was a strong focus on refactoring and automated testing, which I have systematically practiced ever since.

At France Télévision, the technical challenge was the high volume, given the growing demand for on-demand programs. I actively participated and then coordinated the development of critical web platforms for the channel: video on demand, gamification, etc.

Through this experience, I learned agility from experts in the field.

I participated in numerous web development projects for particularly demanding clients in the luxury and mass retail sectors.

This first significant experience gave me a sense of versatility and adaptability to client needs.
