To perfect my theoretical welding skills, I completed an apprenticeship as a metalworker-boilermaker at Les Alchimistes Métallerie. This company allowed me to manufacture my own sheet metal and welded structure designs. I was thus confronted with workshop challenges. This allowed me to improve my approach to designing my plans and CAD models.

As an engineer in the design of plastic enclosures, I led several projects for the design and modeling of plastic enclosures for consumer electronics products, using PTC CREO software. Here is an overview of the main responsibilities and achievements of this professional experience: Design and Modeling of Plastic Enclosures: I was responsible for the detailed design and modeling of plastic enclosures for a range of consumer boilers. I developed precise 3D models that considered both the aesthetic and functional aspects of the products. Collaboration with Design Teams: I worked collaboratively with design teams to integrate desired aesthetic aspects while ensuring the technical feasibility and functionality of the designs. This collaboration resulted in products that were both visually appealing and user-friendly. Supervision of Prototyping Process: I supervised the prototyping process to validate design concepts and optimize plastic enclosures before mass production launch. This crucial step allowed for the quick identification and resolution of any potential design issues and ensured the final quality of the products. Management of Plastics Projects: I coordinated with plastics suppliers to ensure the quality and compliance of the manufactured plastic parts. I ensured that technical specifications were met and that delivery deadlines were adhered to, ensuring efficient and problem-free production. This professional experience strengthened my expertise in plastics design, as well as my ability to effectively manage design projects from the initial phase to mass production, while maintaining high quality standards and fostering continuous innovation.

At the Manitou Group's Prototype Testing Center, I played a role in the realization of various design and prototyping projects aimed at improving testing and new machine development processes. Design and Simulation for Test Benches: I was responsible for designing and simulating essential accessories for endurance and fatigue test benches for new prototypes. Using CREO software and its finite element analysis (FEA) options, I optimized the design of these components to ensure their robustness and reliability during testing. Design and Prototyping of Physical Measurement Tools: My role also included the study, design, and prototyping of physical measurement tools intended to evaluate the performance and characteristics of machines under development. These tools provided accurate and reliable data to guide necessary adjustments and improvements. Test Bench Management: I was responsible for managing test bench revisions, which included writing specifications, coordinating with suppliers for component manufacturing, and monitoring deadlines. This responsibility also involved managing inventory and budgets allocated to these projects. Design of Handling Tools: In addition to test benches, I also participated in the design of specific handling tools for telescopic handlers. These tools were designed to facilitate internal operations while ensuring the safety and efficiency of handling processes. My experience at the Manitou Group's Prototype Testing Center allowed me to develop in-depth expertise in the design, simulation, and prototyping of equipment for industrial machine testing, as well as in managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
