Pierre Dessein

I am passionate about developing companies that reconcile profitability for shareholders and fairness for consumers. My commitment and energy are dedicated to improving the KPIs of the companies I support.

I led Bilhi Genetics (formerly GenePred Biotechnologies) for 10 years and raised several million euros in equity and grants. I have gained solid experience in team management, in Europe but also in the emerging economies of South America and Africa.

My personal interest in fair business has been strengthened by working alongside Emmanuel Faber (former CEO of Danone), particularly in Asia, where Danone has set up a joint venture with Grameen, founded by Muhammad Yunus (Nobel Prize). I am an entrepreneur and an optimist with a strong capacity for cross-functional leadership.

My early career as a business lawyer gives me a broad understanding of the challenges of business development.

I know how to inspire confidence and mobilize my teams while remaining honest and fair. I appreciate intellectually stimulating environments and am convinced that the strength of a team is the key to success. My management experience has allowed me to refine my strategic thinking and adapt my company's business model to market requirements.
