Context

Support mission within Carglass®' BI team, composed of 4 Qlik developers, 1 Talend developer, and 1 tech lead. The objective was to modernize existing reporting and ensure reliable distribution of business information to field teams.

Team

Integrated into the internal BI team, I worked directly with end-users to understand their needs and adapt deliverables to best suit business uses. My role was part of a collaborative dynamic with other developers and under the coordination of the tech lead.

Context

As part of a global data governance initiative, BUT aimed to ensure consistency between its various business applications. Objective: automatically detect inconsistencies, improve data quality, and strengthen confidence in BI reporting.

Team

Mission carried out within a BI team of 2 developers, with cross-functional links to several business project managers. I acted as the main technical contact for framing, designing, and implementing quality indicators.

My Role

• Gathering requirements from business managers

• Defining integrity rules between applications

• Developing integrity KPIs in Qlik Sense

• Automating checks and presenting them in clear dashboards

• Monitoring detected anomalies with stakeholders

Results

Implementation of automated integrity checks between the product repository (MDM) and store data, ensuring the consistency of critical information at points of sale. These indicators helped detect and correct several recurring anomalies, improving upstream processes and reducing the risk of business errors.

Context

Long-term mission focused on the maintenance and evolution of the company's decision-making system. The project was divided into two phases:

1. Maintain and evolve existing QlikView applications, in direct liaison with business departments

2. Lead a progressive migration of critical applications to Qlik Sense, with a view to modernizing the BI stack and aligning with the publisher's developments

Team

I worked within a BI team of 3 developers, with direct contact with end-users (top management, financial controllers, functional departments). This proximity allowed for high responsiveness and better adaptation of deliverables to business needs.

My Role

Fully autonomous in the Qlik part, I managed the entire project cycle, from requirements gathering to user training:

• Gathering and validating business needs

• Writing functional specifications

• Modeling datamarts and structuring the data warehouse

• Development in QlikView then Qlik Sense

• Implementing quality controls and acceptance testing

• User support and training on the new interface

Results

Successful migration of one-third of the applications (20 out of 60), targeting the needs of top managers. This transition resulted in improved ergonomics, optimized loading times, and increased user autonomy in data exploration. The Qlik Sense foundation established then served as the basis for subsequent BI projects.
