About Pierre

With over 20 years of experience in digital, I have accumulated extensive cross-functional expertise in all aspects of modern digital architecture.

As a tech lead, solution architect, and engineering manager, I have worked for startups and large corporations as a software architect, tech lead, engineering manager, and Backops/DevOps engineer, and more recently as a Domain Architect and CTO.

My background and experiences have often led me to manage teams and create a real dynamic oriented towards digital culture.

My expertise in software architecture has allowed me to advise, build from scratch, or evolve legacy architectures from monoliths to more modern stacks in reactive architecture. I have led approaches based on DDD decomposition, microservices, and by guiding teams towards practices and patterns that improve both delivery velocity and code robustness.

My strong expertise in DevOps and Infrastructure as Code has also enabled me to design end-to-end CI/CD pipelines for various cloud providers (AWS - GCP - Azure - Heroku - IBM Cloud)

    Domain Architect - Louis Vuitton

As a Domain Architect at Louis Vuitton, I had the opportunity to lead and manage a digital squad of 48 people, including 30 developers specialized in mobile development (iOS and Android) and backend (Node.js). I led a complete transformation of the mobile application's architecture, which was initially organized around a Back-end for Front-end (BFF) deployed on a Heroku cluster.

Migration to Kubernetes on GCP and AliYun:
I orchestrated the migration of the architecture to a more robust and scalable solution on Kubernetes clusters, hosted on GCP and AliYun. This work involved containerizing backends and a thorough decomposition of the architecture into domains and microservices.

    Collaboration and Architecture Validation:
In partnership with the LV_Neo teams, I developed and validated the Architecture and Deployment Tests (TAD), ensuring the robustness and compliance of our new architecture.

    Performance Optimization:
To ensure optimal performance, I implemented data aggregators within the MuleSoft APIs, relying on event-driven and asynchronous flows. This improved the efficiency of data exchange, contributing to a better user experience.

    TOGAF Philosophy and Vision Communication:
I also played a key role in communicating the technical vision by adopting the TOGAF philosophy. As an active member of the Domain Architects guild, I ensured the communication of this vision, strengthening architectural alignment within Louis Vuitton.

    Solution-Side Program Increment (PI) Management:
As the Solution-side PI lead, I ensured the coordination and prioritization of features and improvements across different iterations, guaranteeing a coherent vision aligned with strategic objectives.

DevOps Engineer - Ipsen (AI Division)

Within Ipsen's Artificial Intelligence division, I held a key role as a DevOps Engineer, establishing and optimizing continuous deployment pipelines (CI/CD) to support data science and machine learning projects.

    Implementing Continuous Deployments on Kubernetes:
I designed and deployed continuous deployment solutions on Kubernetes clusters, enabling data science teams to rapidly and efficiently deploy their AI models into production. By integrating tools such as Jenkins, Helm, and Argo CD, I ensured automated, reliable, and reproducible deployments while maintaining high service availability.

    Deployment on AWS:
As an AWS expert, I managed the deployment of machine learning applications on Ipsen's cloud infrastructure. I utilized services such as EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service), EC2, S3, and Lambda to orchestrate and automate deployments. This enhanced the scalability and resilience of AI solutions while optimizing cloud resource costs.

    Optimizing CI/CD Pipelines:
I implemented robust CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes. By integrating tools like GitLab CI/CD, Docker, and Terraform, I improved team productivity and reduced the time-to-market for new features.

    Security and Compliance:
I ensured that deployments adhered to best security practices by implementing access controls, audits, and monitoring mechanisms. Through the configuration of monitoring and logging solutions like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack, I ensured that production environments were secure and compliant with regulatory requirements.

Engineering Manager - Nerazim (NFT Startup)

As Engineering Manager at Nerazim, an innovative startup in the NFT sector, I designed and implemented the entire technical stack, adopting a serverless approach based on AWS. I used tools such as AWS CDK and GitHub Actions to automate deployments, ensuring a highly scalable and resilient infrastructure.

Creation of the Technical Stack and Event-Driven Architecture:
I built the end-to-end event-driven architecture, leveraging AWS services (Lambda, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, etc.) to manage event flows and ensure real-time interaction with the Avalanche blockchain. This provided the team with a flexible infrastructure capable of quickly responding to the demands of the NFT market.

    Development of Blockchain Solutions:
I personally developed the essential components related to the Avalanche blockchain, ensuring the seamless and secure integration of smart contracts into our application. This work optimized transaction performance and ensured the reliability of our platform.

    Optimization of the Development Workflow:
To accelerate development cycles, I created a custom CLI, which significantly improved the developers' workflow by automating repetitive tasks and simplifying the deployment and infrastructure management process. This CLI played a key role in the technical team's productivity and efficiency.

    Team Building and Recruitment:
In addition to my technical responsibilities, I managed all recruitment efforts, building a talented and multidisciplinary team. I implemented team-building initiatives to foster cohesion and collaboration, ensuring a dynamic and stimulating work environment.

Reviewed on 1/30/2026

Pierre worked with us at the Sanofi accelerator for a 3 month contract which we extended to 6 months. Pierre’s primary role was to backfill a software engineer who went on parental leave. He was trained on a system before the developer went on leave and then was able to support/maintain the product (GenAI Localization tool) during our internal engineer’s absence. Pierre worked with Data Scientists and software engineers. Pierre was a professional and had regular office attendance in Paris France. We have a 3 days mandatory onsite requirement and even though Pierre lives in southern France he was regularly in the office. Thank you for a successful mission Pierre.
