Development of a BI platform for Finance, Operations, and external stakeholders
As BI Analyst & Controller at Smartemis, I was conceptually responsible for building the business intelligence landscape in collaboration with an external BI consultancy.The goal was to create a BI solution that met both internal control requirements and the analytical needs of external practice owners. To achieve this, I developed a BI concept along key functional areas such as Operations, Finance, and HR. The individual analysis areas are based on independent data models but are logically linked, allowing for both specific analyses and cross-functional comparisons.I served as the central interface between internal departments, practice owners, and the technical implementation by the BI consultancy, and also supported the implementation of reporting solutions in Qlik Sense as needed.The resulting BI solution created a consistent data basis for management, finance, and external stakeholders for the first time and enabled transparent analysis of economic KPIs as well as sound operational and financial control. - INU – Innovative University of Applied SciencesFreelance LecturerMarch 2024 - Today (2 years and 5 months)

Customer Segmentation & Marketing Enablement
Conception and implementation of a structured segmentation model for data-driven management of marketing activities. Customers were segmented along clearly defined lifecycle phases (e.g., first-time buyers, active customers, inactive customers, churn). Additionally, reporting was set up for continuous monitoring of segment development.The model created a consistent basis for marketing management and enabled targeted prioritization and deployment of communication measures based on the actual customer status.Test & Control Analyses for Strategic Store Concepts
Analysis of the impact of newly designed proof-of-concept stores with a focus on the target group of new pet owners. Development of a test-control logic for evaluating store renovations compared to structurally similar control stores.The analyses enabled a well-founded assessment of the effects on purchasing behavior, sales development, and customer dynamics, and served as a basis for management decisions regarding further investment and roll-out plans.
