Philippe Brasseur

I started my career at sixteen as a worker in printing and publishing. I completed my secondary studies through self-teaching and private education, before passing the State Examination, then attending law school and business school. At twenty-two, a year of door-to-door sales gave me confidence and a taste for independence. I then founded and managed a publishing house for nearly eight years, followed by running a bookstore for rare and antique books near the Grand-Place in Brussels. This was followed by eighteen years dedicated to the creation and management of three companies active in international trade, in the fields of classical music, fashion, and jewelry. At forty-one, while pursuing my professional life, I began studies in philosophy at the Université libre de Bruxelles. In the late 2000s, I profoundly changed my lifestyle by joining a large public administration, while remaining involved in the economic world. After forty-six years of professional activity, I now pursue an independent activity of writing correspondence and remote administrative management in French and Dutch, at scripturadirect.be.
