Hired as a digital marketing specialist within a small team, my role was initially to support the marketing manager with website updates, photoshop edits, and email marketing. As my expertise grew, I took on more work to support bigger teams around the company.

Over my time at Xylem my 3 main competencies have been as a writer, artworker, and web coordinator. I have been utilised as a copywriter, proofreader, and editor for webpages, blog articles, brochures, telephone scripts, and eye-catching exhibition booth copy.

My ability to communicate clearly and concisely has been especially useful when working with teams in the US, Germany, France and Asia. I used Photoshop and InDesign to create a portfolio of imagery and brochureware to support marketing and sales teams. This includes product photography and post-production edits. I've produced 100+ pieces of print and web content including brochures, flyers, manuals and price guides.

I've also edited video (and recorded voiceovers) for web, social media and exhibitions. As a web coordinator I have created product and marketing web pages, managed CMS and built a successful e-commerce website which helped boost profitability by over 20%. I've managed the company's social media presence for several brands, worked on SEO, and created pay-per-click campaigns.

As a key member of the marketing team I have been a part of creative processes from concept to completion; working on a variety of projects, websites and exhibitions. For a decade, I have been a trusted brand champion; ensuring sales and other customer-facing teams have been adhering to brand guidelines when communicating with customers around the world.

My responsibilities as the Online Services Manager included management of the company websites and social media accounts, as well as creating email campaigns. As part of the marketing team I was also involved with various marketing activities including: copywriting for web and print, video, advertising.

I coordinated the approval process of printed assets – from final creative concept through to manufactured artwork. This included localisation of video game packaging and manuals, managing budgets and dealing with 3rd party companies including Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo.

A keen eye was needed for this role in order to successfully manage each SKU through the process on time and to budget. I liaised with internal and external agencies on a daily basis, ensuring the production of quality assets to tight deadlines.

I played a pivotal role in the approval process, coordinating with many stakeholders around the company, including legal and marketing teams internationally. During my time as Product Manager, I was the lead on several key franchises including The Sims, FIFA, and Burnout; chairing meetings and leading a team of people throughout each project.

I also managed relationships with external design teams – managing their effectiveness and outlining future workloads. I performed a similar liaison role with Nintendo, one of EA's biggest clients, holding regular meetings to ensure all inter­-company procedures were relevant, effective and that brand guidelines were enforced.
