Seed-Up offers a residency program for researchers, engineers, developers, or designers. These "hackers" are employees, they live and work within a reinvented phalanstery dedicated to new digital technologies. The business model combines R&D "design office" services and equity stakes in project companies created internally by residents "startup studio". Establishment of the "Hacker-House" concept in France, presentation to the media (Tedx Paris, print press, radio, TV...). - Management of about sixty technical or creative profiles. - Successful collaboration with more than twenty large groups such as Total, Vinci, Thales, EDF, etc. - Companies created: BeTheSound – Synchronization of audio sources, U31 – automatic tool for simplifying French text, Moore – Intelligent management of storage using machine learning and dynamic file compression. Collaboration with research laboratories: CNRS, IRCAM, INRIA, Institut Curie, etc. - Technologies explored: developments – low and high level – including drivers and OS, machine/deep learning – including NLP, TTS, STT, Automatic image generation, etc. –, networks and telecommunications, cybersecurity, hardware prototyping, robotics; and their links with other sciences (particularly chemistry, physics, health, economics)
