Experience
- BotgenFull Stack Web DeveloperTECHJanuary 2017 - June 2018 (1 year and 5 months)Lyon, FranceCreation and implementation of two platforms presented uniformly in a single frontend:- 1 development platform for training "Natural Language Processing" (NLP) engines.- 1 analytics platform presenting statistics of robots already deployed in production. From a technical standpoint, this was an opportunity for me to implement a React frontend, which communicated with the backend in GraphQL (via the Apollo engine). I developed the backend, consisting of 2 APIs, under NodeJS for speed and flexibility. To achieve satisfactory results in terms of maintainability and performance, I created different databases, corresponding to different types of objects, for these APIs: MongoDB (NoSQL) and PostgreSQL.Regarding the first platform (NLP engine training), I had to implement a complete versioning system for the manipulated objects to be able to retrain a machine according to any past configuration.Presentation of the overall project of the company in question: http://botgen.fr/
- VoyhoyFull-Stack DeveloperTRAVEL AND TOURISMApril 2016 - November 2017 (1 year and 8 months)Santiago, Chilehttps://www.voyhoy.com/During my 6-month final engineering internship and for the year that followed, I worked at Voyhoy as a front-end developer (under AngularJS) and back-end developer (with Amazon Web Service, in Python). This platform allows comparison of all types of journeys throughout Latin America, whether by bus, plane, train, car, or ferry.I integrated the current version of the website's front-end (desktop and mobile) and also integrated micro-services in the back-end to connect various transport service providers (using RESTful and SOAP).Teamwork (both remotely with a team spread across the United States, Peru, and Colombia, and on-site in our Santiago office) taught me a lot about continuous integration and best practices for always maintaining clean and understandable code for everyone.
