What I like about this job is the diversity of subjects I am confronted with. One week I might be working on a caving documentary and the next week working for a geek culture show. With this job, I am constantly learning new things, which is extremely stimulating for me.

Each project also has its own format and constraints, requiring constant adaptation to best meet expectations. Working on daily TV shows, I had to learn to edit quickly and efficiently. Documentaries taught me to be methodical and independent.

When proposing edits, I appreciate the exchange that develops with the director (or producer), even though I know the final decision always rests with the director (or production). I enjoy this exchange of ideas that serves a common goal.

Today, technology allows me to edit from anywhere, so why not take advantage of it?! The choice to become a freelancer was therefore a natural one for me to combine my two passions: editing and travel. Being a freelancer means greater freedom of choice in the projects I want to participate in and also a wider diversity of opportunities. Without freelance status, I wouldn't be able to work as easily with France, the USA, or Sweden. I know that good communication skills with the client are essential for remote work to go as smoothly as possible.
