About Pauline

Illustrator and drawing instructor (quick sketching, observation, graphic techniques), I create illustrations for you around travel, architecture, and corporate life, as well as graphic reports. Contact me also for your team-building workshops: by learning to draw quickly and spontaneously, your collaborators will develop their sense of observation, their creativity, and their artist's eye, to better see and communicate.
My travel notebooks on Asia have been published and exhibited at the Musée de la Poste during its exhibition "The World at the Tip of the Pencil" in 2010.
Clients from the health, new technologies, public relations, consulting, and tourism sectors, as well as the Louvre Museum, have trusted me, as have numerous school and private groups. Let's meet to work together!

Experience

  • La Vie du Rail
    Illustrated Report
    PRESS AND MEDIA
    September 2008 - September 2008
    Lille, France
In September 2008, "La Vie du Rail" magazine asked me to accompany two journalists to Lille for the "Grande Braderie" (Great Sale). Objective: to sketch the stations, draw the SNCF staff, and capture the atmosphere of the platforms and waiting rooms, to illustrate a special issue of the magazine.

Article theme: the impact of the Grande Braderie on regional rail organization. Result: we created a "Logbook," combining text and drawings. I was able to create some drawings at the same time the journalists were conducting their interviews, thus creating an instant graphic report.

Following this format, I offer the following services to companies:

Team building allowing company employees to acquire the basics of professional drawing.
Possibility of illustrating an internal magazine or an annual report with drawings created during a team-building event.
Possibility of creating custom drawings and watercolors for your documents (greeting cards, White Papers, slideshows).
Creation of graphic content for your websites, intranets, and social media.

  • APM (Association Progrès du Management)
Facilitation of a workshop "Travel Notebook: How to See Your Daily Life Differently"
    CIVIC AND SOCIAL ORGANIZATIONS
    September 2011 - September 2011
    Lyon, France
In 2011, the Association Progrès du Management (APM) invited me to lead the workshop "Travel Notebook: How to See Your Daily Life Differently." During a one-day seminar, about twenty business leaders engaged in learning to draw. Objective: to become aware of the choices a painter faces during the creative process. Participants discovered the importance of observation, attention, and creativity – qualities that can be applied to daily management.

The workshop was illustrated with examples from Art History.

    Benefits for participants:

Increased confidence in their ability to see and surpass themselves.
A tool for self-assessment and personal development.
Insights for reconciling a big-picture view with attention to detail.

I offer this type of workshop, which can be easily organized in your company's seminar room, or outdoors. The workshop can extend over two days if necessary, perhaps abroad or in a picturesque setting?

  • Musée du Louvre
Travel Notebook Workshops for Museum Employees
    CULTURE
    January 2011 - December 2015 (5 years)
    Paris, France
From 2011 to 2015, the Calao association, responsible for organizing leisure activities for the staff of the Louvre Museum, entrusted me with leading several "Travel Notebook at the Louvre" workshops for Museum employees.

Six times a year, we created graphic reports in the Museum's galleries. Objective: to allow Louvre staff to rediscover their workplace, enhance their creativity, and observe the hidden wonders that the eye doesn't always see.

The drawings created were exhibited in the Louvre Museum's cafeteria. A great success due to their talent, which sparked the interest of their colleagues, who enjoyed discussing the subject during their daily lunch at the company cafeteria.
