About Paul

🎯 Freelance Backend Developer & IT Consultant with a strong background in Node.js, Python (FastAPI), Azure, and cloud-native backend architecture. I help businesses build reliable, scalable, and production-ready systems, tailored to real-world demands.

I led the backend development of a high-profile online game that scaled to 60,000+ active users, designing the full infrastructure using Node.js, MongoDB, and a microservices approach. I deployed and managed services across Azure (App Service, VMs, Static Web Apps, Blob Storage, and Communication Services), optimized performance via Cloudflare, integrated Stripe payments, and built CI/CD pipeline with GitHub Actions. In a previous project, I also managed server-side development using Python, FastAPI, and MySQL—deploying to Azure and winning a programming contest.

💡 I combine a practical developer mindset with a strong focus on backend systems, clean architecture, and automation. My academic background in Computer Science reinforces my structured approach to development and problem-solving.

I work well independently or as part of a team, and I value clean, well-documented code, scalable infrastructure, and clear communication with clients. Whether you’re building an MVP, scaling an existing system, or need support integrating services like Stripe or Azure, I bring the technical depth and hands-on experience to get it done right.

I designed and developed an immersive website that plunges users into a visual universe inspired by a SD card or computer BIOS. The experience starts with a “fake boot” intro animation, BIOS- or Matrix-style, including glitch effects and scrolling numbers.

I leveraged AI-assisted tools to speed up certain design tasks, allowing me to focus on custom development and deliver a polished website efficiently.

I was responsible for mockup design, adapting it fully to the project’s needs, and front-end development and integration, including animations, interactivity, and page navigation.

    Tech stack used:
    • React (main framework)
    • Vite (fast build tool)
    • Tailwind CSS (modular styling)
    • Framer Motion (smooth animations)
    • React-Three-Fiber + Drei (3D rendering)
    • Howler.js (advanced audio management)
    • Zustand (state management)
    • React Router (navigation)
    React.js Vite TailwindCSS Node.js
