Paula Egido Iglesias

Software developer specialized in IoT, with experience in developing applications for hypoxia machine control. I worked on the design and development of software for both engineering tests and internal quality control, as well as for final user applications. I integrated cloud databases with GCP for real-time processing, enabling data capture from machines and their visualization in the app. Additionally, I designed and deployed PWAs, collaborated on hardware and firmware, and participated in certifications and scientific research.

Associate Professor in the Department of Science and Technology. I teach subjects such as Computer Projects, Telemedicine Projects, and Database Projects, as well as supervising Final Degree Projects. I lead and guide student teams in the development of Java desktop applications, integrating databases for information management and monitoring sensors with Arduino. The projects culminate in a functional application with three user roles, focused on real-time monitoring.

Software engineer with experience in C++ software development for ophthalmic medical devices. I have developed applications in Qt for optical channel quality control, medical image processing, and hardware control such as cameras. Specialized in multithreaded programming and development in Linux environments, including embedded software for medical devices. I have also worked on the development and optimization of image processing algorithms, ensuring efficient communication with hardware and real-time performance. Experience in cloud system integration with AWS and in software documentation, verification, and validation.
