In real estate portfolios, the surfaces used for management do not match the actual surfaces in the DWG drawings. My job is to reveal these discrepancies and structure the data contained within the drawings.
In most organizations, AutoCAD drawings are used solely as graphical documents. However, they contain actionable information: surfaces, rooms, equipment, technical areas.
I structure this data directly within the DWG drawings to transform them into a spatial database for the building.
