Patience Tawengwa

I’m a producer with experience in production management across film, TV, theatre, and branded content. I help productions run smoothly by handling international production logistics, coordination, and project delivery, and I’ve managed projects and creative teams across the United States, Europe, and Africa. My experience includes creating timelines and budgets, recruiting talent and crew, managing schedules, working on contracts, overseeing creative and post-production workflows, ensuring rights are cleared and licensed, and handling multi-country logistics from prep to wrap.

I am also expanding into the emerging field of dataset production, with a focus on leading data collection initiatives for low-resource African languages. My aim is to bridge creative production and technology by supporting language equity and the development of culturally grounded AI tools.

I’m driven by the power of words, images, music, and dialogue, and I work best when building or supporting the practical systems that allow strong creative work to happen. I take on part-time freelance projects alongside my full-time role with flexibility to scale up for the right opportunity.
