Oumou Touré

I was born in Senegal and arrived in France at the age of 18.

Basketball has always been my favorite sport and I do not regret making it my profession years later.

I started in the French sixth division (women's pre-national) and I moved up season after season to the French first division called the Women's Basketball League, currently the Wonderliga bakery.

In 2015, I was selected by the Senegalese national basketball team to play in the African Cup, and my team won the tournament.

This continental victory allowed us to go to the Olympic Games in Brazil in Rio in 2016.

We shared the same building as the French delegation in the Olympic Village.

During my stay in the Olympic Village, I think I saw practically all the athletes in the world.

I obviously immortalized these moments as best I could.

Sport has forged me, made me travel, made me discover other cultures, and above all has been a remedy for all the ills I could have in my life.

During my years of practice, I learned to be rigorous, disciplined, punctual, humble, to make sacrifices, and I developed many other qualities.

This has allowed me to have an open mind, to communicate with ease, and above all to adapt easily.

Today, I can say that I can evolve and bring my expertise in many sectors because I have the recipe for achieving goals.
