Othmane Marfoq

I am currently a research engineer at Smiths detection. I mainly work on subjects related to computer vision. I have a deep interest in the field of machine learning and artificial intelligence. I have an applied mathematics background. I am a graduated student from ENSTA Paris and from ENS Paris-Saclay where I pursued the "Mathématiques Vision Apprentissage" (MVA) Master. I had the opportunity during last years to work on several projects related to Machine Learning. Proximal methods for image restauration and denoising, Study of convergence of different GAN lossess and architectures for realistic image generation, Fine-grained image classification, Abnormal event spotting on CCTV videos, Training a self-driving car, Buildding Object detection systems, Speech Generation from text, Chatboots building... All this projects have helped me to gain a theoretical and practical knowledge on both machine learning and optimization, and to improve my coding skills, and to familiarize myself with different deep learning work-frames (Pytorch, tensorflow, keras ...)
