Scientific and nature illustrator, I have been drawing since I was very young. It was after my master's degree in biology that I decided to combine these two passions: art and science. Thus, I had the chance to work for a naturopathy school where I illustrated courses in medicine and botany for a year.
What I enjoy about my profession is representing the beauty and complexity of the living world while transmitting scientific knowledge.
I most often create illustrations in the field of the environment, whether it be naturalist plates (insects, birds, etc.) or explanatory diagrams. The creation of my illustrations is often accompanied by documentary research. I can use various techniques such as watercolor, pencil, charcoal, oil painting, acrylic. Watercolor remains my preferred technique.
As a member of several naturalist associations, I have trained over the years in species identification techniques. Dynamic and creative, I will be able, through my scientific knowledge, to produce precise and quality illustrations on environmental or medical themes. I remain open to other subjects, of course!
Furthermore, my extensive experience in animation allows me to create illustrations that are accessible to the general public, especially children, in order to raise their awareness of the environment around them. I have just finished illustrating an educational game on 'Unloved Animals'.
