Passionate Web Developer since 1999, I have worked for numerous clients (Web agencies, start-ups, large press groups...) and different types of projects.

The quality of the code I produce is, of course, a fundamental criterion for me, but as a former Flash developer (purely front-end therefore), I am also very attached to the user experience, and committed to delivering a final product of quality in all aspects.

I was notably a consultant and Lead Dev on Symfony technology for several years, but I have worked with many other technologies and programming languages in parallel: Node.js, Go, Zend Framework, Ruby on Rails...

In 2018, I left PHP development and switched to Python, and I am therefore now essentially a Python web developer, with the ability to do frontend on React or Vue.

I was notably Lead Developer Django (and React) for 3 years for the startup Inclusive Energy.

I also led several projects on Django, Wagtail, and Node.js stacks at Torchbox - the Django-specialized company, where the migration machinery now integrated into the framework, as well as the open-source CMS Wagtail, used by Google and NASA among others, was created.

I also strive to follow Django's slogan, and to work as a "perfectionist with deadlines": code quality is important, but should not be prioritized over timely delivery of expected features.

A "Rapid Application Development" technology like Django is perfect for applying such a principle, as it allows for rapid development while maintaining high software quality and predictability.

After living and working for 17 years in Paris, I now live in Edinburgh, and am therefore only available for remote freelance assignments.
