🎥 Trained in journalism at the French Institute of Press Paris II Panthéon-Assas, I am a writer-director of documentaries, corporate films, and fiction.
🎛️ In 2012, I created the production company LUMENTO, dedicated to art, know-how, and culture on the one hand, and outdoor adventures on the other. Lumento creates for institutions, major accounts, foundations, and corporate patrons: Fondation Cartier for contemporary art, Pinault Collection - Bourse de Commerce, Société Générale, Red Bull, Salomon.
🍿 In 2022, I wrote and directed Génération(s) Guerre d'Algérie for Arte.tv, a concept of intergenerational meetings on the Algerian War.
🎟️ My films have won numerous awards:
- 14 selections and 3 awards for the documentary Sur mes deux jambes: destination 3000m, about the ascent of a 3000m peak in the Alps by 5 amputees equipped with a new sports blade;
- Best Short Documentary Film Award at the Paris Surf & Skate Film Festival 2019 for Bowl de campagne, about the arrival of skateboarding in a French village;
- 5 international awards including the Best Documentary Award at the Cinema on the Bayou Festival 2016 for the documentary Chasing Bonnie & Clyde, about the reintegration of criminals in Texas;
- Webby Award 2011 for Best Online Documentary Series for Brèves de trottoirs, a series of portraits of ordinary Parisians with extraordinary stories met by chance on the streets, later adapted into a 52-minute television documentary on France 3;
- Grand Jury Prize 2012 of the WebTV Festival for La Nuit Oubliée – October 17, 1961, a web investigation platform on the night of the demonstration in Paris on October 17, 1961, a bloody episode of the Algerian War in France.
👨🏻🏫 Since 2010, I have regularly given lectures in journalism, directing, and production training, including at the French Institute of Press, Ina Pro, and Sup de Pub.
