Description

Freelancing for 15 years, and passionate about software development for over 20 years, I've had the opportunity to work in many tech roles: project manager, developer, technical expert, technical architect, CTO, Tech Mentor, CEO of Fintech.

However, I've never stopped improving as a developer and gradually acquired solid foundations in Software Craftsmanship to allow me today to be effective, autonomous, and to apply best practices.

As a Fullstack Developer, I am equally comfortable with backend technologies such as Typescript, Go, or Python (or PHP), as with frontend technologies such as HTML/CSS/JS and ReactJS, TailwindCSS. I excel in API design (GraphQL or REST).

Having built over 20 Cloud platforms myself, I am comfortable and autonomous with DevOps issues and tools (Terraform, AWS) and automated continuous integration (CI/CD) processes, particularly with GitHub Actions.

I particularly appreciate so-called "serverless" and event-based architectures and am therefore naturally operational, expert, and certified on AWS and comfortable with many services like CloudFront, Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB…

Working remotely full-time for over 10 years, I am organized, autonomous, and quickly operational in new contexts. I also have experience mentoring juniors or those less experienced than me (code reviews, pair programming workshops with screen sharing).

I am currently looking for assignments that allow me to directly leverage the skills I already have, in the (many) technologies I already master, while having a project where I can explore new things, beyond tech topics, and step out of my comfort zone, without forcing my clients to finance my perpetual learning.
