Engineer in technical and scientific support in a refractive surgery center in Paris. o Implementation of clinical protocols, analysis of results, modeling. o Advice on implant calculation and programming of advanced treatments. o Development of tools to aid programming or analysis (Excel, Matlab). o Technical and scientific monitoring. o Writing of documents (courses, reviews...) for specialists or the general public. o Training on equipment use, first-level troubleshooting, and technical interface with companies. o Supervision of interns and apprentices (engineers / optometrists) Topics covered: optical fundamentals of refractive surgery, correction of presbyopia by excimer laser, trans-epithelial ablations, multifocal implants, multifocal simulation... Research project within the framework of a doctoral thesis entitled: "Study of the transparency of corneal grafts: OCT imaging, diffusion analysis, and electromagnetic modeling". Experimental and theoretical study of corneal tissue properties: o Analysis of diffusion behaviors by far-field measurement of scattered intensity. o Structural observation by microscopy and optical coherence tomography. o Extension of an electromagnetic model and applications to corneas.
