As a UI Developer at BBVA Technology, I bridge the gap between design and front-end development teams, translating designs from the creative team into detailed, implementable interfaces. Working within an agile environment, I ensure that all visual components are accurately prepared for front-end integration.

At The Knot, I've had the opportunity to work on a platform with extremely high traffic, which means my work directly impacts thousands of users every day. The frontend stack heavily relies on CSS (using Sass) and follows the BEM methodology for clean, maintainable code. I've helped implement a new responsive architecture, using Webpack for packaging, and have maintained legacy code with Grunt. On the JavaScript side, I primarily worked with ES6, using Babel for transpiling and Webpack for bundling. While we've moved away from jQuery in favor of more efficient vanilla JavaScript in the new architecture. Working in an agile, Scrum-driven team allowed us to stay organized and collaborative while continually improving the product.

At Softtek, I worked on a project that started with Angular but transitioned to LitElement to meet evolving needs. I built responsive UIs using HTML, Sass, and design tokens to ensure consistency across components. I collaborated closely with the design team, using PSD files to turn their mockups into pixel perfect web components. The switch from Angular to LitElement sharpened my skills in web components and strengthened my adaptability to different technologies.
