Founded in 1981, Le Partenariat is an international solidarity organization that fights against inequalities and works for a more supportive world. The organization supports local, sustainable, and solidarity-based economic development in territories. Its experience, cooperation relationships, and commitment to local stakeholders enable it to promote the implementation of regional public policies, mobilize, and create connections between local authorities, populations, and state technical services. The ownership of projects by local partners is a priority. The objective of this cooperation approach is to strengthen the capacities of local partners to ensure the sustainability and durability of the actions undertaken.

- International Cooperation Department: The organization operates within a participatory and sustainable methodology for improving the living conditions of populations and within the framework of sustainable territory-to-territory cooperation: in Senegal since 1981, in Morocco since 2007, and in Guinea since 2015.

- Citizenship, International Solidarity, and Sustainable Development Education Department: Gaïa. Le Partenariat undertakes Citizenship, International Solidarity, and Sustainable Development Education (CIS-SD) actions in France and Europe. The Gaïa Center, based at the association's headquarters in Lille, has been welcoming the public since 2006 in life-size immersion workshops representing Senegal.
