• - Conduct operational risk assessments and hazard identification.

• - Evaluate and classify safety-related risks.

• - Develop, implement, and maintain Safety Management Systems (SMS).

• - Ensure compliance with ICAO standards and local aviation regulations (e.g., FAA, EASA, ANAC).

• - Perform internal and external safety audits and inspections.

• - Prepare reports detailing findings, non-conformities, and corrective actions.

• - Support investigations of incidents and accidents.

• - Analyze flight data to detect safety trends and anomalies.

• - Deliver safety training programs for pilots, maintenance personnel, and management.

• - Promote a strong safety culture across the organization.

• - Review and update safety manuals and emergency response plans.

• - Advise on strategic safety improvements and best practices.

• - Assist with industry audits and certifications (e.g., IOSA, IS-BAO).

• - Act as a liaison between the organization and regulatory authorities.

• - Provide expert recommendations to enhance operational safety and risk mitigation

• - Plan and organise staff safety training; -Provide independent advice on safety matters; -Advise senior managers on safety matters; -Assist line managers; -Oversee hazard identification systems; -Be involved in occurrence / accident investigations;
