Intervention on an existing Elixir trading bot, with numerous processes supervised via OTP. The bot was connected to the Binance API and presented occasional reliability issues: unclosed positions, latency in entering positions, and insufficient error handling.

I performed an in-depth analysis of the architecture and concurrent flows. I identified bottlenecks related to processes, state management, and timings, then conducted targeted refactoring of the Trading Bot. The improvements focused on the robustness of workflows, explicit handling of Binance errors and limits, and predictability of production behavior.

I also laid the groundwork for a simulation/backtesting mode to test and evolve strategies risk-free.

Result: a more stable, responsive, and maintainable system, ready to evolve.

As a senior Elixir developer, I was responsible for the end-to-end design and implementation of critical features, leading the architecture and development from idea to deployment. Among my main achievements:

1. I designed and developed backend APIs as well as WebSocket messages to ensure smooth frontend support, enabling real-time interactions.

2. I optimized WebSocket performance to handle up to one million concurrent users, ensuring reliable and fluid communication at scale.

3. I developed a custom load testing tool in Elixir, leveraging its memory efficiency to simulate one million socket connections with minimal server load, ensuring system resilience under high stress.

4. I designed and implemented a secure multi-currency payment system, integrating both traditional and cryptocurrency payment methods. This included creating an internal ledger to securely track user transactions, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of fund inflows and outflows.
