The Accor group has adopted an asset-light strategy, similar to its competitors in the hotel sector, primarily retaining hotel management and franchising activities, and has developed its purchasing department to offer all hotels a comprehensive panel of suppliers. The group earns revenue based on the volume of business between selected suppliers and hotels.

To support this activity, a web platform, Astore Suite (A2S), was progressively deployed worldwide to enable the declaration of supplier business volumes with hotels, supplier invoicing, and potentially the distribution of part of the revenue to hotels.

I was responsible for migrating all German operations to A2S in coordination with the local administrator, purchasing teams, change management teams, digital teams, and the PBS team (purchasing support) to which I was attached.

The first phase involved upskilling and analyzing the situation of the German business (turnover and different methods of data handling and storage made reading difficult). Then, a migration method and a schedule were defined and executed.

During the mission, I was also entrusted with redesigning the German supplier declaration process (first declaration of business volumes on A2S) with the Northern Europe - Consumer Goods VP (Amy Fergusson) and Astore (François Leborgne).

Once the process was designed and validated, the scope was expanded from Germany to all Northern European countries with some adaptations.

The process design, planning, and execution were carried out in collaboration with purchasing, distributors, manufacturers, the PBS team including Northern Europe administrators, the digital teams responsible for A2S, and change management.

This mission was conducted in German, English, and French.
