Where do I come from…?

I was born in HELLIN, the city of the Drum, in 1968. I currently live in Mataró, where I've been for fifteen years, and I've been working at Transmesa since 10-06-2003.

My brand is Nicopre and Nicolás.

In 1998, I bought my first modem and started browsing the internet. I immediately wanted to be part of it and learned HTML. I created my first website in 1999; CSS had just released its first version, although to be honest, most websites were still being laid out using tables. I haven't stopped since then.

In 2018, I started using WordPress and, once again, discovered a new world.

Since then, WordPress has advanced a lot. I'm not going to say that WordPress is the future of the world wide web: it already is the present. Currently, 25% of websites are made with WordPress, and the trend is upwards. Furthermore, with each new version, both WordPress and its best e-commerce solution, WooCommerce, become more and more powerful and efficient tools.🙂

On a personal level, I am an avid reader and passionate about learning, history, and science. I have two sons, 20 and 25 years old, beautiful and intelligent like their mother, and they are the joy of my life.

So, you could say I am a very fortunate person, as I can dedicate my free time to working on something I truly love and to my loved ones. As for my free time, besides programming, I love traveling, nature, and the mountains, and I like to spend the time my Loved Ones and my work allow me to go to the beach, go hiking, and do other mountain and adventure sports.
