Following the merger of the Ritmx entity within the e.Voyageurs subsidiary, the setup of a pivot team for the creation of an "ondemand" Kubernetes stack to ensure the migration of all SNCF projects to the cloud (AWS).
• Automation of the creation of auto-scalable EKS clusters (ansible / AWX and eksctl)
• Massive and systematic use of the operator pattern (https://kubernetes.io/docs/concepts/extend-kubernetes/operator):
◦ Creation of a REST API to handle k8s namespace requests (DynamoDB backend).
◦ Creation of an operator (Go) listening to this API to automatically create and configure namespaces requested via the API.
• Management of all clusters as code via GitOps
• Management of AWS assets with Terraform (eksctl for the EKS part)
