Feed management is an essential expertise in e-retail, whose mission is to ensure the journey, compliance, and success of your product offering wherever you distribute it. This can be on marketplaces (Cdiscount, Amazon, La Redoute...) or on platforms like Google Merchant Center, Facebook Ads, Instagram, and many others.
Feed management can be divided into 4 missions, which are all specific projects on which I can intervene and help you:
1- Source feed creation: the most technical part, it goes from the extraction of your raw catalog from your e-commerce site (or catalog creation if there is no site) to the connection of this catalog to the chosen feed management software.
2- Feed optimization: this part consists of transforming your raw catalog to comply with the specifications of each target platform, and then optimizing it to maximize its potential and success.
3- Feed connection and integration: here the feeds will be connected and configured to the feed management interfaces of the target platforms. Whether for marketplaces (API connection) or SEM platforms (feed URL), the methodology varies.
4- Maintenance: this stage consists of ensuring the maintenance and operation of the feeds over time, by paying daily attention to the platforms' error reports, but also by anticipating any catalog evolution (new products, promotions, sales...).
Note that to carry out these missions, the use of feed management software is strongly recommended (I am trained in its use, whatever the software).
