Nicola Scivoli

I was born in Italy, grew up and studied in France. I am a trained social worker and worked for several years in various fields of Child Protective Services. After a few years, I completed an 8-month training course at a missionary agency near London (UK). I also lived and worked for over 10 years in Belo Horizonte (Brazil) where I managed a community center in a favela.

Since childhood, I grew up with 2 languages (French and Italian) and my background has allowed me to develop my language skills with English and Brazilian Portuguese. My varied experiences have also allowed me to increase my sensitivity to the multicultural dimension in addition to stimulating my leadership and team and project management skills. During my years in Brazil in particular, I was led to translate and interpret, juggling between French, English and Brazilian Portuguese. I developed a taste for it, and that's why I am now reorienting myself towards this very broad field of languages to make my skills available.
