I hold a Bachelor's degree in Physics, a Master's degree in Mechanics, Physics, and Engineering, and a PhD in Solid Mechanics obtained through a CIFRE program with a company in the renewable energy sector. This experience provided me with insight into the corporate world and the engineering profession, with a project-oriented perspective, as well as the research environment. For my thesis, I worked on an R&D project focused on the design of composite material structures. Numerous project phases were addressed, including the search for innovative solutions, the design of structures and test setups, finite element structural analysis, the manufacturing of composite parts, machining, conducting mechanical tests (measurements using cameras and 3D-DIC, strain gauges, pressure sensors, tensile testing machines, swelling test rigs), and analyzing the results. I also managed the project, suppliers, and various human resources (working with different stakeholders and supervising interns and students) during my PhD. Subsequently, I held an R&D Mechanical Engineer position aimed at developing the R&D activity of an engineering company (developing new projects, human resource management, design, analysis). I also worked for a major aeronautics company on calculation methods for composite structures.
