Nick Van Eijk

Hi, my name is Nick and I am a fully self-taught creative.

I learned videography, photography and editing by watching, doing, making mistakes, evaluating, doing it again and improving wherever I could.

This journey started in 2018 and since then I have been able to do many different projects.

From brand and lifestyle shoots to interview set ups and documentary style work.

If there's one thing that I have learned in that time it would be that the wishes of my clients have to match with the output passion that I have.

Meaning that I am the person who will always try to lift your project up to the next level.

Here are some facts about me.

1. I hate creative brainstorm sessions in a dull room. My creativity flows when I'm driving the car, doing groceries, drinking a beer or when I'm under the shower. Pitch the idea, let me marinate on it for a bit and I'll get back to you with a solid idea.

2. I'm Dutch but I like my food very spicy. Boterham met hagelslag ook lekker.

3. I believe authenticity and a good creative direction mean more than social media vanity numbers. Social media is fake, we all know it so there's no reason for your content to be fake as well. Authenticity wins always even, if fewer people watch it.

4. The hair on the back of my head is starting to thin out and I'm trying vigorously to find a solution for it. So far, no luck. Open to suggestions.

5. If the vibe is right I will go above and beyond for you. If not, I will advice you to find someone else because nothing is more important (except for delivering the right results) than building a good and lasting relationship.

6. My favorite cartoon from when I was young is Alfred Jodocus Kwak. I believe that it's the best series (both for kids and adults) ever made. Prove me wrong.

7. I have done projects for JCDecaux, Technogym, Bjorn Borg, Canon, The City of Amsterdam and many more.
