Nerissa Folkers

During my position as a medior visual designer at TDA Group, a data company with multiple brands, I was responsible for the visual communications of all labels within the marketing and communications department. I design and monitor the corporate identities, develop templates, and realize diverse online communications. In close collaboration with the marketers of each brand, I translate their marketing objectives into strong, consistent, and effective designs.

At NTR, I worked in the marketing and communications department. Here, I assisted in conceiving and editing video material for social media channels and creating animated advertisements for various programs. Additionally, I was involved in the layout for internal communications.

During my six-month internship at the Japanese gallery Ezen Designs in London, I further developed my skills in Photoshop and Illustrator. I was involved in digitally restoring artworks from The British Museum's collection, developing repeatable patterns based on historical designs, and creating visual content for social media and newsletters. The focus was on translating classical art into contemporary, commercially applicable designs.
