Nelly Ollivault

Independent French translator, I lived in Italy before being led to work in Athens. I currently live and work between Greece and France. After a career in editing and the film industry, I retrained in translation out of a passion for languages and a desire for flexibility.

I offer you my services:

- Translation of all types of documents from Italian, Modern Greek, and English into French, my native language.

- Transcription of audio/video documents recorded in French, Italian, Greek, or English.

- Proofreading and editing of French content.

- Subtitling in French.

- Liaison interpreting between Greek and French.

I work in various fields but have greater expertise in the following sectors:

- Cinema and audiovisual (translation of scripts, subtitling, etc.),

- Journalism (consecutive interpreting and translation of interviews, fixing, etc.),

- Historical research (translation of scientific articles, etc.).

With great curiosity, I pay particular attention to researching each field or topic encountered during my assignments.

A few words about my interests. I have both a scientific rigor and an artistic soul: I practice photography and polyphonic singing, and I love literature, especially Italian, and cinema. I am particularly passionate about history (I hold a Master's degree in historical research, specializing in International Relations, Globalization, and Interculturality).
