Within a production team, I held the position of Lead DevOps.

My main missions were as follows:

• Implementation of a Kubernetes cluster to centralize and standardize deployments.

• Definition and management of a common Helm manifest to standardize service configuration.

• Support for development teams in containerizing their applications with Docker, for integration into the Kubernetes ecosystem.

• Management of production and non-production releases, as well as CI/CD pipelines.

• Automation, industrialization, and security of existing build and deployment processes.

• Continuous improvement of deployment strategies to gain efficiency, reliability, and scalability.

Within an Agile team composed of developers, a Scrum Master, and a Product Owner, the mission focused on optimizing DevOps processes, as well as supporting and guiding developers in a complex technical environment.

• Kubernetes Administration: Deployment and management of a Kubernetes cluster, including the creation and administration of namespaces for HPR (High-Performance Runtime) and production environments. This work also included monitoring and resolving infrastructure issues.

• CI/CD Optimization: Continuous improvement of the continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipeline via GitLab CI, with a focus on reducing build times, automating tests, and securing the pipeline (including SonarQube, X-Ray, and Zap-Proxy). This led to improved speed and reliability of production deliveries.

• Automation with Docker: Development and management of Docker containers to ensure consistent and reproducible deployments across different environments, enhancing application portability and isolation.

• Management of storage and security solutions: Development of an S3 AWS file management module for secure data processing, and another module for data import from Vault, ensuring smooth integration with the existing infrastructure.

Support and awareness: Guiding the team's developers to raise awareness of best development practices, including the adoption of DevOps methodologies, selection of appropriate tools, and integration of good security and performance practices.

This responsibility included technical scoping, costing, and development.

► Application Migration (Framework, JDK, Application Server).

► Design & Development of microservices applications (JHispter, Spring-Boot 2, Angular 8).

► Implementation of Spring-Security (Database, LDAP, JWT).

► Development of SOAP and REST web services

► Installation & configuration of application components (Linux, JBOSS, Tomcat, PostgreSQL).

► Continuous deployment (creation and configuration of Jenkins Jobs) / GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes.

► Third-party application maintenance, corrective and evolutionary.
